Dubai-based producer Wriggly Scott is back with a new track featuring his long-term partners Feras Ibrahim & Jibberish, this time accompanied by the sweet vocals of newcomer Nora B. Scott and the two MCs originally worked together as part of the legendary UAE hip hop group Diligent Thought, and ‘Music’ sees them reunited again with the MCs trading bars over a an uptempo party jam reminiscent of a time when hip hop was all about having fun, think The Pharcyde or Native Tongues and you get an idea.

Alongside the lead track is the instrumental piece ‘Unparallel Views’ where Scott invites Feras’ sibling and spoken word poet Hiba Rasheed to share her thoughts. The production marries sampled organic ethnic instrumentation with synthesized sounds.

As a bonus track Scott gives us ‘What?’ – a beat that was originally made as part of a compilation for the Jazz Jousters (a jazz hip hop collective he is part of) – once Feras heard the beat he immediately wanted to rap on it, and soon after followed fellow Another Music signee and beatsmith OBI.VON, stepping out from behind the boards briefly to deliver a knock-out verse.
